A concept ad for Dr. Martens’ collaboration shoe with A BATHING APE® and mastermind JAPAN. The concept of the ad is themed around the number three. Three recognizable brands with rich history and culture all into one shoe. Copy, product shots, and composition is split into thirds to further push the concept. Design cues from mastermind JAPAN’s minimal aesthetic, Dr Martens’ yellow stitching, and A BATHING APE®’s signature pattern are subtly incorporated into the overall visual to create a cohesive fusion of all three.
